Urban Axis started in the early 90s by a group of young people (17-18 years) to promote the Danish skater culture, located in Roskilde. Up through the 90's it quickly became bigger and for example, they have helped arrange DM in Skateboard and BMX.

In 2002 had the honor of being able to hold one of the biggest skate events in Denmark, where among other Tony Hawk and Matt Hoffman came in and performed.

In 2009 they begin to branch out to other audiences to create a more stable income and by using their contacts to businesses in Roskilde, they began to establish one-day events scattered throughout the year.

Urban Axis is now a well-established company with 3 major events a year and many 1 day events, such as the American Veteran Car Meetup, down at the local harbor.

In collaboration with the municipality of Roskilde, they have now created a strong tourism environment with many possibilities.
